Android Development Workshop
In September 2022, I participated in an Android Development workshop organized by the Cybersecurity and Coding Club SATI and mentored by Harsh Tiwari. Held from 20 September to 30 September 2022, the workshop brought together 50+ participants in a hands-on learning environment, where I ultimately secured First Position.
Beyond participating in the workshop, I was also part of the Coding Club's organizing team, contributing to the planning and execution of the event. My involvement included college outreach and participant coordination, event planning, faculty and venue permissions, event design, technical setup, and on-ground coordination and discipline. Working alongside the workshop mentor and faculty coordinators, Prof. Sumeet Dhillon and Prof. Vipin Patait, gave me an early opportunity to take responsibility for both the technical and operational aspects of a student-led event.
What makes this experience particularly meaningful to me is that it sits at the intersection of technical learning, community building, and leadership. It was one of my early opportunities to not only learn alongside other students, but also help create the environment in which that learning could happen.
